Navis HALO is the first AI-powered navigation engine built specifically for blind and low-vision users. Unlike traditional apps based on vehicle maps, HALO is designed to understand how people walk. It uses geospatial data, phone sensors, and predictive algorithms to guide users accurately without a live camera feed. By anchoring pedestrian waypoints to real walking paths, HALO avoids unsafe routes and continuously learns from user behavior to improve safety and precision.

​How does the app work?​

When you open the app, you meet Navis, your personal AI assistant. You simply speak or type your destination, and Navis takes care of the rest—planning the route, giving step-by-step instructions, and adjusting to your preferences automatically. The more you use it, the more personalized and intuitive it becomes. If something unexpected comes up, trained human support is always available with a single tap.
