Tiera is Levelling Up: Improving Stability, Scaling for Growth, and Rolling Out Teleassistance Features

Last month, our team made significant strides in stabilising Tiera and working on some exciting new updates. Here's a quick look at what's new and what we've improved this month.
Strategic Focus: Stability & Scaling
We’re focused on making Tiera more reliable, easier to maintain, and ready to support more users. As our community grows, our priority is to strengthen the app’s foundation and improve how we monitor and track performance.
New Features: Customise Your Tiera Experience
Various new features are currently rolling out to TestFlight and will soon hit the App Store.
Custom AI Instructions: users can add their own custom AI instructions, and can toggle these on and off.
Verbosity Settings: A new high-level verbosity setting will allow users to dictate how chatty or concise navigation instructions should be.
Instruction Categories: users will be able to toggle specific information categories (e.g., side-streets, crossings) on and off.
We know that all of our users are different, with their own unique needs when it comes to navigation. With features like these, Tiera allows each person to customise their experience and make their journey with Tiera their own; because navigation for work for your world, not the other way around.
Teleassistance: Your Personal Navigation Guide
We’re reaching important milestones with Teleassistance: we had a successful live demonstration with our CGO, Richard, and the main features will be ready this sprint. The team will focus on fixing any issues and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Long-Term Vision & Roadmap
We’re creating a ‘Long-Term Vision’ outlining the ideal Tiera user experience by the end of 2026, which will guide our future roadmap. We’re also exploring a bold vision for 2030 and 2050, imagining how Tiera users might navigate in the distant future, and we look forward to sharing these ideas with you once they’re more developed.
